The choir is about to undergo some changes that the MD's and committee feel to be very exciting.

The first is a change of name ... we will become the Kaboodle Community Choir. 

The web site will have a new look and will be linked via the Sound Central Site so as not to loose any of the good contacts that we have.

We will be changing rehearsal venue allowing us the opportunity to use more rehearsal spaces and greater flexibility to meet the growing needs of the choir.  We are to be based at the new Birkenhead Academy - formerly Birkenhead High School for Girls (map).  We we still rehearse on a Thursday at the same time - different place.

The second development for us is that Matt Lammin will be joining KCC to lead a new venture linked to the choir.  Further information to follow but, we are very excited by this addition to what we do.  Matt is  a dynamic and talented young musician and vocal coach (that is not implying that Chris and Dave are old but that they are not as young as Matt! - however they like to think that they are dynamic in a mature way!)  with loads of energy and ideas who will offer a new dimension to the choir.

There may well be other developments for us as time goes by to open up the community aspect of Kaboodle C C creating music making opportunities for as many peolple as we can.

This is an great time for our young choir and we are all looking forward to the future, rehearsing and developing our repertoire, performing to raise money for charities, entertaining people and giving local people the opportunity to be involved in music as performers or spectators

Chris and Dave would like to thank the committee for their ongoing hard work and also the choir for turning up every week and making Thursday nights such fun.

We are sure that the Kaboodle Community Choir will go from strength to strength and continue to produce enjoyable, accesble music at the highest standard.
